Retail Display / Shop-in-Shop
Garmin SIS
A 10-by-10-foot shop-in-shop for roughly 50 Best Buy locations, designed to showcase Garmin's smart watches and sports tracking devices with powered, interactive displays.
01 - The Brief
An Immersive Brand Destination
Garmin wanted a dedicated branded environment within Best Buy - a space where shoppers could explore their ecosystem of smart watches and sports tracking devices firsthand. The display needed to power 12 live watches, allow customers to try on 10 of them, and secure the most expensive products behind lockable cabinetry.
The program would roll out to roughly 50 Best Buy stores, meaning every detail had to be production-ready, repeatable, and field-serviceable.
02 - Design & Engineering
Three Cabinets, One System
The shop-in-shop consists of three millwork cabinets that work together as a cohesive system. The corner cabinet features a locking swing door, while the left and right cabinets use locking slide doors - each engineered for the specific access pattern of that position.
A standalone branded pedestal rounds out the experience, featuring a bicycle seat and handlebar to display bike-mounted products - letting customers envision the product in context.

Product-Specific Solutions
Every product category received thoughtful display engineering. Golf device security mounts, watch pedestals with power routing, and club topper displays were each designed to present the product naturally while maintaining security and power connections.
